Fira de bagoin – Pig festival (January)

Pork has always been widely appreciated and valued in the local cuisine; traditionally, the pig was slaughtered in winter and for the frugality of the local family this moment always represented a feast involving the whole family and even neighbours.

The ‘Fira de Bagoin’ commemorates the event and whets the palate with tasty dishes to be enjoyed in company.
